Malki Foundation UK's Three Peaks Challenge: Are you up for it?


Malki Foundation UK is organizing a Three Peaks Challenge to benefit the work carried out in Israel for the benefit of families caring for a special-needs child.

Are you up for it?

The National Three Peaks Challenge has become famous as an event in which participants attempt to climb the highest mountains of Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. Walkers climb each peak in turn, and are driven from the foot of one mountain to the next.

The three peaks are:
According to Wikipedia, the total distance walked by participants is estimated at 42 kilometres (26 mi) or 44 km (27 mi) with a total ascent of 9,800 feet (3,000 m).

Guides: All guides are qualified mountain leaders with many years’ experience. Their knowledge and experience will add substantially to your trip.

Requirements: Although no previous mountaineering experience is required, a reasonable level of fitness is expected. You will be climbing three high mountains with little rest between. We recommend you follow a fitness plan in preparation for your challenge, an example of which will be sent with your booking confirmation. N.B. The fitness plan is provided only as a guide and we encourage you to seek professional advice to meet your specific needs.

Why?: To raise vital funds for the Malki Foundation, a non-political, non-sectarian, not-for-profit organisation which empowers families of children with special needs in Israel by giving them the means to provide their child with quality home care and the best available paramedical therapies.
